M.E.L.T. (121.5 hours)
M.E.L.T, Mandatory Entry-Level Training program consists of 40.5 hours of classroom, 40 hours of In-yard and 41 hours of On-road training. Total 121.5 hours of standardized training covers the essential knowledge and skills to safely operate a semi-trailer truck. This mandatory training helps ensure the safety of all road users.
- Hold a minimum class 5F licence.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Meet the required visual and medical standards.
- Pass class 1 and Air-brake knowledge tests.
